Soon to be.....

TWENTY FIVE. A mighty number, half way to fifty and five years from thirty.

I must admit, life started out a bit odd, but getting this far and ending up in this position I'm presently at has been a huge adventure. Most of the positive aspects in my life haven't come easy and I've had some great people who support me and keeping me sane, which I am very grateful for.

During my twenty five years of discoveries, I have been lucky enough to visit many countries, some of them became a part of me and never left, feeling like I somehow had already visited them.
The main country that captivated me the most was and still is Japan. This country just has a vibe to it, a pulse that runs and entrances me. A year or so I spent pondering where I was heading and whether I should return to this country someday? With the slump of gaining employment, there was a sudden opportunity opening that connected me back to this long lost sweetheart of Japan, a solution to both returning and gaining a job combined. So, "Plan Japan" began!

Which has lead me to the decision I'm at today, living in Japan with my partner in crime.

There are still certain steps to be taken to ensure this plan is successful, but I'm confident and passionate about this goal. Nothing has made me feel so high before!

Not only is this plan coming into fruition, but I am a freelance artist, who would've thunk it?! It's taken me sometime to reach this point, but I am finally earning money from something I enjoy ^____^

So, lets see what the grand age of Twenty Five brings, I am certainly looking forward to the years events! BRING IT OOOON.

Panda Cam

Over the past month, I have been enticed by Firefox, (As in the web-browser) as they have set up cameras within an enclosure of some red panda/firefox cubs! One of my favourite animals, I of course tune in whenever I can, like some kind of panda based Big Brother.
I've found this pretty entertaining over this past month and it's so fun to watch the little gals grow ^____^

Heres some screen capped "greatest hits" of their camera moments...

Baking, Self Pimping and Japanese

I have been baking! What delights do you ask? Well let me show you....

First of all, we have peanut butter cookies

They are just as tasty as they look! I adore the combination of these two flavours and they had a slight squidgy crispy-ness with a bite.

Here is the recipe

Next up is MELON PAN. A lip smacking delight from Japan...

These turned out ludicrously tasty, especially with adding chocolate chips ^___^

Now I have wet your pallet, let me inform you that I have more junk in my store, CHECK IT OUT! Thanks to those of you who have purchased goods already, I appreciate the loooove. ^___^

On a side note, I am currently teaching myself Japanese with the help of Pimsleur's lessons. Funnily enough, I'm picking up far more than I thought! Seems to roll off the tongue at times, I can imagine living amongst the language will help even further.

Welcome 2011!

To start off, lets begin with a little 'Best of 2010' vlog, shall we?

Woah, what a year! So many achievements and adventures to be had and with a lot of hope and planning, this year should be even more awesome ^____^

I must admit, 2010 was a very successful year for commissions and artistic inspiration, I've been taking my art far more seriously and having so much fun with it. Because of this, I stopped looking for mundane jobs and I became a fully fledged freelance artist, which I had been working towards for sometime, but I chose to take things a bit more seriously and the work paid off (Literally)! I am charging fair amounts for my work and being recognised for my talent.
Hopefully, 2011 will be just as awesome and maybe even better ^___^ Thanks to all those who commissioned me this past year!

I am now opening my KEYRING COMMISSIONS once more now the New year is in, so go check em' out!

This year will mark my 25th birthday, not sure what to think of that really, as I don't feel like an adult, child or teenager...something floating in between I guess, but gradually becoming that person who I will be for the rest of my life.

I'm finding out who I really am through my various travels and life experiences, along with that, figuring out who and what I need in my life. I think 2010 kinda brought forward a lot of answers to questions I had been pondering for sometime, making me become who I want to be and getting rid of certain aspects of my life that were more of a burden than helpful.

I'm not going to sit here typing about what trivial little "first world problem" turmoils I came across during my 2010, instead, I am thankful for what I managed to achieve. I now have a goal to head towards and enjoying every step.

To start off the year, I actually gained an interview with the Japanese Teaching company Aeon! I was so excited to hear this, it's not until late Feb-March - fingers crossed! Plan Japan, GO.

With Plan Japan comes the need for me to get rid of A LOT of junk! General schtuff I have collected and can't take with me overseas, so I want to give it all good homes. Going for awesome prices and all with the use of Paypal. You can find DVDs, geeky schtuff, goth schtuff clothes, jewellery - it's all there!
