First of all, videos!
New York Pt.3
Halloween Zombie Record Break
Ok, now back to business.
I handed in my Warhammer art goods today, via hand delivery by myself, just so I know my works are in good hands :) Now I play the waiting game until about February, see if I make into the next round or not.
In that time I'll have my graduation, birthday and a new graphics card to sought out.
It's so odd that I'm finally graduating, contemplating how long I've actually spent in education and whether it has actually been worth the the ride. Socially yes. Educationally, not as I expected. Let me put it this way, I WOULD NOT recommend the University of Derby to ANYONE. I did indeed expect ALOT more from the animation course I attended, as the animators were simply stuck in some kind of limbo between the other subjects, I always felt the tutors were unprepared, biased, under skilled and under appreciative. I felt like I was, and have always been, teaching myself when it comes to art/animation. I'm sure I have many more negative points to make about my course, and the entire University as a whole - but I digress. I'd rather ramble about positive art news.
I came across a giant pile of unfinished drawings lying around in my room today, from earlier this year, subjects I began way before my temporary art block during the Summer. I even began painting one of them today, but got terribly distracted by the animé 'Gurren Lagann'. boooy, was it worth it! It was the final episodes of the series and pleased me to no end with a mixture of totally badd ass ending with fantastic animation, making me realise I couldn't ever compose an animated fight scene D:
I also saw the finale episodes to Battlestar Gallactica, Series Two, which dude, another mind blow! I literally said aloud "NO WAYS!" Ok, I must bring myself to no spoilers.......... BUT WHY BALTAR, WHY?!
H'okay, I edit photograph and draving then vill post tomorrow, da? Da.

Like, woah!
H'okay, I AM HERE. I just haven't had the patience to fill this out.
First of all here is my New York Pt.2 video:
I haven't got round to exporting Pt.3 yet, not-to-mention the Zombie Marathon that happened over Hallow's Eve.
Yesh, my computer did get fixed *BIG GRIN* Fortunately, no need for a new graphics card, just sticking some of the screws back on the already existing graphics card. This was conducted by some much more knowledgable computer repair folk, who told me the previous repair shop I visited is known for shafting people, even damaging their hardware and my faulty card could be related to them. Asses.
Although, (I don't want to jinx anything) I had a weird resolution thing happen to my screen when playing WoW the other night and have stayed weary ever since. Not sure whats going on to be honest, but if I DO require a new graphics card still, it will have to wait until after Xmas. SRSLY. I'm awaiting a free day to crack open the case and explore the insides and see if all is well, until then I'm keeping myself occupied with applying to a job at Warhammer World for an illustrator. All is printed out artwork wise, just need to spiff up my CV and write out some mind blowing cover letter; wish me luck!
In correlation to this is my dear siblings birthday, which we're celebrating by visiting London for the day tomorrow - whoop! Getting a good view of the Francis Bacon exhibition at the Tate and checking out Camden Town market are the main events of the day, hella funs :D Although, it means an early morning wake-up call (5am, I usually head to bed at tha time), I better stumble off this box before I loose anymore hours sleep.
I'll upload schtuff upon my return - TO LONDON!

Like I Promised :D
Farewell for a few days...
Ya-ha, the computer is going in for a couple of days, hopefully no longer than Saturday as I'm planning to go away on Sunday to Rob's (The man I get hugs from). With all the hub-bub I've had with this computer in the past few months, I really want to get this graphics card problem sorted in the easiest way possible and hopefully the more affordable one too. Since it seems that theres a screw loose on the graphics card itself, I'm hoping that they can just wedge another little crewy thing in....but what do I know about computers XD We shall see anyhoo.
Before I toddle on my way for a couple of days, here is my next 'Hallow Lady' installment...
I love how her hair came out in this one, also the dress ripples too ^_^
I may be back informing you of youtube videos too, as I'm in the process of uploading them :)

How DO they do that?
So I watched Disney's 'Brother Bear' today and I of course was not only astounded by the schweet animation that is obviously found with any Disney picture, BUT I found myself in total awe of how they create water. I mean, I seriously zoned out for about five minutes (During the rain scene when Koda's mother has been killed by Kenai)just pondering about the logisitics of how awesome they manage to pull it off. Just the flow and movement of the splooshes, then the backlash effects when an object hits the surface; it makes me all Keanu Reeves WOAH. I wish I had a GIF for evidence, but I'm sure you know what I mean.
This then got me thinking about animating again and that I should get back into it sometime soon. THIS thought was spurred by how they animated fur. The what I like to call "neck flab" on all the bears had me giggling inside everytime they turned their heads, not -to-mention the delicious bear anatomy (OMG IT'S SO ACCURATE A-BOO-HOO). So I think my next artistic achievment will be to animated a big fluffy, flabby creature turning around and saying something. Yes, that shall be it.
In the meantime, my OTHER artistic projects are still flowin'. My 'Hallow Ladies' idea now has another member....
I'm very proud of how this came mainly because I got to draw a red hair and freckles combination ;) See a more detailed version here. I have only just finished "Lady Witch", so expect her once I get round to scanning it in.
Hmmm, what else?
Oh I managed to accomplish two important things on my "To do" list today:
- Phone up about my computer: Yesh, my computer is finally going in on Wed to a NEW computer repair shop (The last ones became really seedy), and get the graphics card sorted out. It's been bugging (How 'Clueless' of me) for atleast a month, but I haven't had the money or time to get round to it. This will hopefully be the LAST of the computer problems, as it has been non stop even though this badd boy is only just over a year old. I must've spent over £200 easily getting it sorted this past year alone *sigh*
- Phone the dentist about my chipped tooth: ya ha, it luckily is not hurting but I'd rather get it sorted out before something bad happens to it (Knowing my families luck it'll happen as I'm at Disneyland and recieving a hand shake from Jeff Goldblum), soo woo! Getting it checked out on Frija and see what a lovely penny it'll cost me to get it fixed.
Hmm, I should end this with something positive.
Erm, Disneyland?
:D

The end of sarnie rap
Sitting at my desk with my big ass bowl of cereal and a cup'o'tea I sat at my computer checking through my e-mails, as I do most mornings. In my horror did I find an e-mail entitled 'Copyright claim dispute - Sarnie Crew - "Dollars, Dollars"', I was all like "huh?" since I thought this had been settled and resolved as me winning, hence the video was on display on the tube. It was then that I read into and thought, am I actually messing with the big people?
"Dear ShiverZ66,
In response to your dispute regarding a content identification match, UMG has reviewed your video Sarnie Crew - "Dollars, Dollars" and confirmed their claim to some or all of its audio content. As a result, your video is no longer available."
UMG of course, as with an google search leads you too UNIVERSAL MUSIC GROUP. This kinda had me freaked, so I will leave this video to the Big Boys D:
Now I will contemplate where to get my chipped tooth sorted out, since the last dentist I was regestered at is out of business. Also, my computer, as the graphics card is still messing around when I want to play WOW
Oh! I can't wait to see my sister's tattoo also, since I personally drew it for her and it'll be like "Hey, my art is on your shoulder blade dudette!" :D
More rambles later, after mucho' drawing - wheee, art is fun again!

Artwork Update
So I actually managed to finish part of the Hallow's Eve Ladies project that I've spoke of before, may I present to you Lady Lycan:
On another topic, supposedly I own a hair salon?
Since where burshing by the subject (See what I did there? AH-HA)I am considering funking up my hairness, since it has been the same for sometime now, and I came to the realisation that it'll look ridiculous if I get an older, as I am getting old now. BOO.
Ok, one of the posibilites is dyed white streaks at the front:
Modelled here by the lovely 'X-Men Evolution' Rogue. Yes I'm aware it's animated and I'm not. I could then customise the streaks to colours of my choice, maybe (BLUE PLZ)
So here is my Xmas wish list so far;
"Dear Santa,
- White streaks at the front of my hair(Almost typed steaks XD)
- Black PVC trousers
(I am not a dominatrix)
K, Thanks!"
Now to do more drawing, tata!

Finding myself back and forth like a crabby crab.....
...This title does not make sense as they walk left and right, i felt like involving a crustacian in my blog since ya know they're cool, not-to-mention the fact that my magnetic crabby on my desk jiggles with every slamming type I make on the keyboard. LOOKIT HIM GO MA!
Yesh, I is back. Back from where you ask? EVERYWHERE. Specifically, New York. The land of a thousand meals, sights, sounds and purchases. It must be noted that I had a might fine time, seeing the two specifics I wish to see in all countries:
1. Zoo
2. Natural History Museum.
Before I ramble about both of these places, I should probably mention that the entire atmosphere of New York was just a totally awesome, bodacious place and they have, like, the BEST and most HUGE pizzas :P It was fantastic long weekend (Not enuff time plz anufa wk plz, k thnx!) with so much packed into it. This is also to say it was spent with awesome-tastic company, that were luckily not bothered by my constant photographic addiction.
I have spent like, two days editting/uploading photographs, so I will give you the highlights :D
Rockerfeller Building with funky Autumninal display.
I now have a LOVE for pancakes, bacon and maple syrup. My gawd, don't knock it until you've tried it!
Naked Cowboy, I gots to strump his guitar string :D
Times Square ^_^
Toys R' Us in Times Square, Jurassic Park T-Rex!!!
St.Patrick's Cathedral. It was SO hard to pick my favourite photo from this place, as the whole structure was so astounding! I had to wedge inbetween two structures to get this.
This maybe a regular day-to-day experience for most New Yorkers, but for me it was pretty interesting; The Subway :D
My first time experiencing a sport entertainment known as 'Roller Derby', first time I'd ever wanted to sign up for a sport!
NEXT DAY
Giant pizzas! Dang, they are mighty fine too. Yesh, that is my hand in ratio to the pizza.
Central Park. What more is there to say? I frakkin' love this place, a must visit in the Autumn. Trees = :D
Central Park Zoo! Of course, one the major stops that must be made, I mean, it had Tamanduas AND Red Pandas, how awesome is that?! There were also polar bears and rolling seals for show. Not a huge zoo, but definitely worth the trip because of the layout, enclosures and selection of animals ^_^
Disney Store New York! Of course, a capital of the world has to give something special to the Disney fans out there. I flailed my limbs like a crazy person when I saw the shops sign and dived right on in! The decor was amazing, like a minature Disneyland, with an added third artist floor. This is where you can find fine art paintings featuring your favourite tales and characters; I fell in love with the Beauty and the Beast one that is above. There were many other classics and even a chance to get your photo taken with Donald and Mickey - JOY!
Rockerfeller Building at night, ok, I need a drum roll for these next pictures because they are hella rockin'!
Beautiful, no? The big ol' purple building is the Empire State Building. When I stepped out I gasped and heck, maybe even a little eye waterage, since I thought I'd never see something like this in my life. Made me feel all giddy and schtuff ^_^ Now for some awesome mood lighting photos featuring people faces!
<3
Swooshy hair at night ^_^
NEXT DAY
Midtown Comics, I finally found the original 'Dark Knight' poster featuring The Joker smearing blood from behind a glass window in here - THANKYOUUU! (For some reason it is not available in the U.K.)
M&Ms crazy colours, and way too much M&M merch!
Hershey's store = REECE'S PIECES :D:D:D:D
NEXT DAY
The American museum of Natural History. Greeted by a gaint Saurapod (Maybe a Brachi, I wasn't sure because so many peeps were sitting around the base and I could not see the description of the dinos) taking on a Megaraptor(? Once again, not sure).
His favourite stompy dino ^_^
My dear beloved Parasauaralophus <3
WHALE!
Squid and the Whale.
New York has millions of taxis, millions. They're hella comfy and suprisingly inexpensive.
The plane ride home, greated by snow and a very beautiful sunrise when floating of U.K. soil ^_^
HOLY BALLZ NEW YORKS WAS AWESOMES. (P.s. I want to live there someday and all that ^_^)
Wish I could say more, but my interenet browser has closed on three occassions during this blog. So more stories when I have more energy LOLZ.
Le fin.
